Econo-Heat Panels
The Econo-Heater is a low cost, economical, wall-mounted
panel heater that is the efficient, versatile and low-cost solution to
keeping you warm in winter. Our heated panels operate mainly
on the convection of heat and are designed to be left on for long periods
of time. Econo-Heat panels operate at relatively low surface
temperatures (75°C) thereby giving constant background heat whilst using
very little electricity. The low surface temperature also makes
these heaters child and pet safe. This concept is similar to
central heating systems, but our Econo-Heat panels are far less expensive
to purchase, operate & with self installation they keep you
comfortably warm, for a lot less!!
The Econo-Heater is Australian Product Safety approved and
listed, it is now widely used around Australia in homes, businesses and
commercial properties.
How our heater works
Heat is mainly generated behind the heater in the space
between the panel and the wall which leads to a very efficient up-draught
of heated air circulated into the room. This principle of
convection means that about 90% of the heat comes from the back of the
panel and only 10% is radiated from the front of the panel.
Product Construction
ECONO-HEAT panels are constructed
from asbestos-free cement fibre board with element wire laminated between
the two boards. A 2m length cable is joined to the element wire in a
custom-designed housing in one corner. The panels are factory painted
with decorators wipe clean water based paint.
- An easy to
install patented ECONO-KIT with wall-plugs and mounting pins as well
as a drill bit is included with every panel.
- Panels can be
painted to suit décor with any good quality water-based paint.
- Panels have
been tested and approved to UL, CEBEC, Australian, New Zealand, and
IEC Standards.
- Panels have
an 18 month warranty as long as relevant safety and installation
information is complied with.
The surface temperature does not exceed 75°c in normal operating
conditions and there are no exposed elements, making the panel child and
pet safe.
